Arriving on the water taxi

It was so nice to see Nicky, Brent, Lyla and Parker arrived around noon on the water taxi.  They flew in direct from Ft Lauderdale to George Town.




We went out for dinner

The kids didn't waste time to jump in the water.  We then took them to one of the beaches and then we all went out to eat dinner at a restaurant which was having open mic.

When we returned to the boat, the kids blew the conch. After a game of UNO, they went straight to bed.  They wore themselves out.  Actually, the adults went to bed early.

 March 16, 2019

Off to the market

 Today was a day of showing the kids part of the island.  After breakfast, Steve took Nicky and Brent to the market while I did Zentangle with the kids.

Kids found a rope to climb the hill

 

We hiked up the hill to the monument and then went on the ocean side beach.  The kids loved playing on the sand dunes.

 We saw a very unique tree and even lizards with blue tails.  Once we returned, it was margarita time.

We had a great pork chops dinner. While Brent brought the kids to the beach, Nicky and I took showers and then enjoyed a glass of wine while watching the sunset.  Nicky was great blowing the conch for the first time.

After Brent returned with the kids, we played a couple of game of UNO before the kids went to bed.  What a gorgeous evening.
