Steve and I took a 2 week vacation in Florida to visit our daughter and to start preparing the boat for when we leave for the Bahamas at the end of December.
There is work to be done to get GaYa ready before going in the water.
She didn't look too bad. While I washed and bleached the inside, Steve painted the bottom of the boat. It was so hot.

Christmas shopping is all done and time to start packing our provisions and meeting with friends to say goodbye before heading south. I need to begin before the family arrives for Christmas celebration.

After celebrating Christmas with the family, it is time to seriously get ready. We will be preparing the house before our departure. Things to do: clean out the garbage so, empty our fridges, car prep, empty water jugs, unplug everything, clean out dishwasher and coffee maker, lower the furnace temperature etc, etc...
