January 11, 2019 - Marsh Harbour

January 11, 2019

9:00am- We dinghies in town and mailed a letter.  We were hoping that BTC was open so that I can buy data and phone service for my iPhone but no luck.
We stopped in at the Green Turtle marina to see if friends, Terry and John, who store their boat at that marina, were there.  They already left for Hope town.
11:20am-  Seeing that the seas were calm, we decided to go thru the passage and go straight to Marsh Harbour.  Figured we go there to get BTC data and a few parts for the boat and then we will go to Man O War.

3:00pm- Arrived at Marsh Harbour.  We covered 22.42 kn today.
We went in town with our scooters. As we were heading to BTC office, we noticed Terry and John from Primera Vista sailboat. How ironic!  They were heading to Hopetown after they finish their chores. It was nice to catch up.
We finally found a BTC to buy a SIM card and data time.  We found out that if you do not use your SIM card after 90 days, you have to purchase a new one.  Guess I know now to purchase one in Florida next year before leaving.  Lessons learned.

5:30pm- I made a great Buffalo Chicken Broccoli dinner.  Steve said he wouldn't mind having this meal again.  It was so good and simple to make.

We enjoyed Jimmy Buffet music while enjoying our tranquil anchoring and later finished watching ' Wanted' series.
